Impaired Driving charges are different from Over 80 charges in that the Crown in the first case is obligated to prove that ones ability to operate a motor vehicle is impaired and in the latter that the alcohol concentration was in excess of 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood. DUI Lawyers are trained in the complexities of these laws. This does not mean that every time a DUI Lawyer is hired a case will automatically be defeated. However, if there is a way to defend the charge then our DUI Lawyers will find it; if there is a way to negotiate the charge to a lesser offence then our DUI Lawyers will do so; and if defences are not available, our DUI Lawyers will so advise.
